Kanha National Park - Best Wildlife Destination In Central India

Kanha National park is located in Madhya Pradesh.It is stretched in two districts Mandla and Balaghat covering an area of 940 square km, which makes it one of the largest national park in central India. Kanha National Park was established on 1 June 1955 and it was upgraded to Kanha Tiger Reserve in 1973. Kanha National Park is one of the top 10 Famous Tourists Places in India. Kanha inspired Rudyard Kipling to create his famous masterpiece - Jungle Book.
This National Park is famous for Bengal tigers but it is also home to 1000 species of flowering plants and around 300 species of birds. About 32 mammalian species are recorded in the park. Have a look on Biodiversity of this national park.
